Boiler Servicing


It is always strongly advised that the servicing of your boiler be carried out annually as a wise precaution. We can ensure that your current system is operating to peak performance, ensure against carbon monoxide leaks and prolong its overall lifespan. Regular maintenance of your boiler can also help to identify any faults which may cause further damage or cause a future breakdown, which can be expensive and is best avoided.


During the inspection/servicing of your boiler our engineer will complete some basic tests, if the test results are outside of the standard approved parameters the engineer will have to complete a full comprehensive service, in which case the boiler is fully stripped down. In most cases the standard test results will be acceptable and a full service is not required.


We recommend that you get your boiler serviced during the summer months in order to ensure it's reliability during the winter period (when it is needed most!), however if you notice any of the warning signs listed below you should arrange for a Gas Safe registered engineer to take a look at your appliance as soon as possible.


Signs to look out for;


  • Your gas appliance is not working properly.
  • Your appliance is burning with a lazy yellow flame instead of a crisp blue flame.
  • You can see black marks or stains on or around your gas appliances.
  • Your pilot light keeps going out.
  • There is increased condensation in the room.
